Overview

Sweepo is a free Mac cleanup utility developed by Emirlan Rasulov. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Sweepo handles your data.

In short: Sweepo collects no personal data. All processing happens locally on your device.

Data Collection

Sweepo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No crash reports sent to external servers
• No account or login system
• No cloud storage or sync
• No third-party services or SDKs

Local Processing

All file scanning and analysis happens entirely on your Mac. Sweepo accesses your files only to identify duplicates, old installers, similar photos, and other cleanup candidates. This data never leaves your device.

File Deletion

When you choose to clean files, Sweepo moves them to your Mac's Trash. Files are not permanently deleted and can be recovered from Trash within 30 days (or until you empty Trash manually).

Permissions

Sweepo may request access to certain folders on your Mac (such as Downloads, Photos, or Desktop) to scan for cleanup candidates. These permissions are used solely for local file analysis and can be revoked at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Children's Privacy

Sweepo does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
